Patrick Davis - Used Vehicle Sales Director

Patrick Davis joins us as the new General Sales Manager. With a proven track record in sales leadership and customer satisfaction most recently at our Coralville Superstore, Patrick is dedicated to ensuring that every customer has a positive experience from the moment they step into our showroom. Patrick's leadership style is focused on fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and customer-centric approaches are at the forefront.

Patrick Davis began his career with McGrath in September 2014, selling used cars at McGrath Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. He worked there until January 2019, when he was promoted to Sales Manager at McGrath Westdale Used Car Superstore. After a year in that role, he moved to the Coralville Used Car Superstore in February 2020 as a used car sales manager. In January 2024, Patrick was promoted to used car director at McGrath Volkswagen Hyundai of Dubuque. Just two months later, in March 2024, he advanced to General Sales Manager at VW.

Patrick is married to his wife, Nicole, and they have three children: Savannah, Maverick, and Dominick. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, and playing video games with his kids.

Jackson Kallman - New Vehicle Sales Director

As the new Used Vehicle Sales Manager, Jackson Kallman brings a wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for quality. Jackson is passionate about providing our customers with reliable, high-quality pre-owned vehicles. He understands the importance of trust and transparency in the used car market and works diligently to ensure that every vehicle on our lot meets the highest standards. Jackson's commitment to customer satisfaction and his expertise in vehicle appraisal and sales make him a perfect fit for this role.

Jackson moved to Dubuque in 2015 from Gretna, Nebraska, to join the Loras College soccer team and pursue a degree in Business Analytics. During his time at Loras, his team achieved the impressive feat of being national runners-up in 2015.

Jackson has been with his girlfriend for five years, and together they have a lovable four-year-old rescue dog named Arya.

Joining our team in January 2020, Jackson started in sales and excelled for two years before transitioning to our Finance office. His dedication and hard work earned him a promotion to Sales Manager. Outside of work, Jackson is an avid golfer who enjoys playing at the Meadows and Lacoma Golf courses.

Dylan Welu - Finance Director

Dylan Welu has been with VW Hyundai for a few years now, but he was recently promoted to the position of Business Office Director. With extensive experience in finance and customer relations, Dylan is dedicated to making the car buying process as smooth and stress-free as possible. He oversees all aspects of the business office, including financing, warranties, and customer support. Dylan's attention to detail and his ability to explain complex financial options in an understandable way help our customers make informed decisions. His focus on transparency and customer care is a cornerstone of our dealership's success.

Dylan started in October of 2020 in the Used Car Department as a sales person. He excelled in this, qualifying for BBB that year by selling more than 12 vehicles in 10 out of 13 months in that position.

Afterward, he was promoted to Finance Manager in December of 2021, and continued to learn and adapt to the market, earning accolades and high praise. When the Finance Director position opened up in April of this year, there was no doubt who was the perfect person for the role.

Ern Bolden - Business Office Manager 

Ern moved to Dubuque in the fall of 2015 to attend Clarke University, where he played basketball for four years. During his impressive college career, he was named All-Conference three times, entered the 1,000-point club, and set the record for most games played in Clarke history.
